1. - Question types.- Yes /No questions and Wh-questions.
Yes/no questions star with Do,Does,or Did.
WH-questions use the
following question words.
Who,When,When,Why,What, Where, How.
2.- Count and no
count nouns.
Count nouns are nouns
that can be counted for quantities use
How
many?
Example. How many apples do you need?
No count nouns are
nouns that cannot be counted for quantities use
How
much? Example .How much money do you need?
3.- Modal Verbs. Must,
Mustn´t, Have to, Don´t have to.
Must --- say something is necessary
You must
work overtime.
Mustn´t --- say
something cannot be done.
You mustn´t
talk in class.
Use Have
to. To show
responsibility.
You have to
clean your bedroom
Use don´t
have to. To show that something isn´t necessary, but it can be done.
I don´t have to
go to the party with you.
ENGLISH ZONE
1. - FOR AND SINCE
They can be used in present
prefect (have and past participle)
For use for a length of
time like numbers of years.
Example. I have lived in
this house for 3 years.
Since use with
specific time such a date.
Example I have worked in
this factory since 2010
2.- SENTENCES IN PRESENT PERFECT WITH ALREADY AND YET
We use yet in questions or negative statements to talk about things that
we expected to happen before now.
Have you finished the work yet?
I haven't seen the new
James Bond film yet.
A: Have you met our new
colleague? B: Not yet.
We use already to say that something happened sooner than expected.
Already usually
comes before the main verb or between an auxiliary or modal verb and the main verb.
I am sorry, she has already gone home.
The film has already started.
She's only four years old
and she can already read.
3. - BIOGRAPHY
A biography is a detailed description or
account of a person's life. It entails more than basic facts like education,
work, relationships, and death—a biography also portrays a subject's experience
of these events.
4. - HOW YOU EVER?
Ever
is NOT used in statements. It is only used in questions with the present
perfect.
We often use the adverb ever to
talk about experience up to the present:
My last birthday was the worst day I have ever had.
Note: and we
use never for the negative form:
Have you ever met George?
Yes, but I’ve never met his wife.
Yes, but I’ve never met his wife.
5.-Verbs
in past participle.
BLUE PLANET.
The sun is a source of energy that give us heat and light.
What is Heat? Heat is the name of energy that transferred from warm
sustances to cooler ones.
Heat is not the
same of temperature.
A thermometer …shows the
exact temperature of the human body.
Water power ..is a
renewable source of energy
Water cycle
Wind power is a
renewable source of energy,sailboats,windmills
and wind turbines are examples of wind power.
Combustion
….is a chemical reaction that produces
energy.
Internal combustion….. Burning
fuel inside of an engine. Examples cars
and aeroplanes.
External combustion…water,coal,oil,
and wood all produce steam which
is an external form of combustion.
Who were the first people to use the wind power?…. The ancient Egyptians.
